Project requirements:
Due to the long-term cultivation of Sharetop in the African market in the early stage, since the construction of the backbone network project of a telecom operator in 2019 years, the market response is good and customer satisfaction is high. Â In order to provide high-speed network services to remote areas in Africa and improve the coverage of network business, the group ** learned about the business capacity of Sharetop in the field of optical network transmission solutions through local peers, and approached the project demand for the group's construction of cross optical transmission projects. Although the project has only three network nodes, they are located in different countries, and the distance between each two nodes reaches 150km.
Project difficulty:
1. The network nodes are located in different countries, and the network protocols of the three countries need to be coordinated to realize interconnection;
2. It belongs to 10 Gigabit service and requires a large number of compensation dispersion values;
3. The node span distance is too long and the optical fiber loss is large;
4. It is located in a remote area and needs to realize remote monitoring to reduce the later operation and maintenance cost;
Solution design:
After receiving the customer's demand, the technical engineer and the person in charge of the customer communicated the details of the line and transmission requirements in detail through video conference, and proposed to adopt Sharetop XYT-1600 series equipment to realize one-way direct transmission of business; The OEO board is configured through the intermediate node to meet the needs of business up and down the intermediate node, and finally won the approval of the customer responsible person. The solution perfectly solves the problems of large line span and large optical fiber loss by configuring BA and PA amplifiers between two nodes; At the same time, with many years of technical experience, the long-distance dispersion compensator is boldly configured to improve the service transmission quality to the best, and the error packet and packet loss are within a reasonable range. In addition, taking full account of the customer's needs for later business upgrading, 8 channels are configured to eliminate the customer's worries about later business upgrading and capacity expansion.
Introduction to XYT-1600 series rack:
XYT-1600 series chassis adopts a new design, using green and environmental protection, low power consumption, low radiation, non-toxic and renewable raw materials. 1U, 2U and 4U chassis can be selected according to the number of services. The stand-alone box supports 1-15 general service slots and 1-2 network management slots. The front panel slots are designed to support hot plug of the board. Each functional unit board can be flexibly accessed without being limited by slot position. Under the same system capacity, the equipment integration is higher, which effectively saves the room space.
At present, the chassis supports NMU network management board, OTU / otu3 / otu4 service board, OEO optical conversion board, ODM wave combiner and splitter board, OSU optical splitter board, EDFA / SOA optical amplifier board, OLP optical circuit protection board, OBP optical bypass protection board, OSS optical routing board and DCM / TDC dispersion board.
