Point-to-point networking
Point-to-point networking is the simplest form of networking for end-to-end business transmission.Point-to-point is also the most basic form of networking, and other networking methods are based on this.This networking mode is generally composed of OTM station and OLA station. Through the combined application of distributed lamamification, FEC (forward error correction) and other technologies, it can completely meet the demand of ultra-long distance transmission system.
The network form of point-to-point networking is shown in Figure 1-3.

Chain type networking
The chain type networking is mainly applied to the situation that part of the wavelength of the intermediate node needs to be up and down locally while the other wavelength continues to transmit.The ODMA site is introduced into the point-to-point networking, which is a typical chain networking application. The ODMA site can provide two wavelength allocation methods, fopremium or ROADM,The latter can dynamically distribute wavelength according to business requirements, making opening and maintenance more convenient. The network form of chain typr networking is shown in figure 2.

Ring networking
In the planning of DWDM network, most of them adopt ring networing,Ring networking provides two-way service routing between East and West, which can realize flexible service protection, it can realize the comprehensive protection of optical layer from channel to line (such as optical channel protection, optical complex section protection, optical line protection ),It can also realize the protection of electric layer based on business particles and has strong network self-healing capability. The network form of ring network is shown in figure 3.

CWDM and DWDM Hybrid networking
The CWDM system is used in the early stage of network establishment to quickly open a small number of services. With the continuous growth of broadband business and the increase of business volume in later period, it can be smoothly upgraded to DWDM system.CWDM and DWDMThe network form of hybrid network is shown in figure 4.

n CWDM specifications support the access of up to 6/16 waves with a wavelength interval of 20nm.
n When CWDM and DWDM are mixed network, the wavelength of 1531nm and 1551nm should be reserved for CWDM to expand 40 wave DWDM wavelength.When expanding, the OTU board can be used in the DWDM system by simply replacing the optical module.
