Customer Background
Customer is an ISP secondary operator in Southeast Asia holding the fiber optic cable resources in Southeast Asia. He wants to take advantage of its fiber optic cable resources to develop ISP business.In 2017, preliminary plans were made to build a national transmission network in Country M to host ISP services.
Operational Challenges
1. The ring network is about 2800km with many sites and complicated networking;
2. New networks building need to consider high scalability later;
3. Needed to provide on-site installation and commissioning services, and the M country has year-round domestic war so that construction personnel safety issues are outstanding;
4.The budget of the project is low and requires long-term maintenance.
Solution
1. By using XYT-1600 active wavelength division system to build backbone transmission network, the customer's transmission requirements can be realized and the possibility of later expansion can be reserved.
2. SHARETOP sent technical engineers to the M country to help customers install and debug equipment until the business was opened.
3. At the same time, SHARETOP also provides the customer with equipment operation using and operation maintenance training.

4. In 2017, 1.25G transmission network was set up in the first phase of the project. In 2018, customers were successfully upgraded to 10G transmission network. In 2019, some key nodes were upgraded to 100G transmission.
