At present, the traffic volume of large-scale data center interconnection transmission in China is gradually increasing from 100 G to T-class, but the optical fiber is already existing fiber, and the resources are scarce, and it is difficult to lay the fiber again. This requires consideration of how to use existing fiber resources to expand on the original line. The main direction of capacity expansion research is two. One is to increase the number of channels by using DWDM technology, and the one-core fiber becomes dozens of cores; instead, the single-channel transmission rate is improved. For example, the previous single wave is mainly 10G, and now many data centers start to use single Wave 100G is transmitted.

Scheme 1: Related optical single wave 100G+ wavelength division technology
Through the relevant light-tunable wavelength 100G optical module, the maximum transmission can be 1400 kilometers, and only the optical relay compensation optical power is needed in the middle. In the 96-wavelength division multiplexer, the maximum transmission is about 9.6T. It can fully meet the current large data center interconnection.
Case 1: Coherent light T-level transmission
As shown above, the customer's total line is more than 1000 kilometers, and it is necessary to transmit 2T traffic. Later, it needs to be expanded to 4T. Based on customer needs, Fiber Yitong provides the relevant optical single wave 100G+ wavelength division technical solution. Configure 40-channel WDM and 100G coherent optical modules, and only need to do LA light compensation in the middle.
Scheme 2: Non-coherent single wave 25G+ wavelength division technology
Scheme 2 uses an uncorrelated optical single-wave 25G optical module and wavelength division multiplexing technology. Unlike the first solution, the optical module belongs to non-correlated light, and the relay needs to simultaneously perform optical power and dispersion compensation. Mostly used for transmission over shorter distances.
Case 2: Uncorrelated optical T-level transmission
As shown above, the customer's total line is 150 kilometers, and it needs to transmit about 1T of traffic. Fiber Yitong provides non-correlated optical single wave 25G+ wavelength division technology according to customer needs. Configure 40-channel WDM and 25G uncorrelated optical modules for optical compensation and dispersion compensation.
The two sets of sharetop have been tested by the market, the program is rigorous and the equipment is running stably. Compared with the T-class transmission built by Huawei ZTE's large-scale OTN equipment, it has obvious price advantage.
